I am a student of Art History and an accomplished weaver. I adore brocaded card weaving, particularly those bands produced from the 10th - 14th centuries, but enjoy many forms of textile creation.

My introduction to historical textiles came with a hobby, the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), and grew to a desire to not only recreate bands, but understand the role they and their makers played in history.
