Gilded Shoes

One of the most fun, probably a lot crazy, things I've done as a weaver is a joint project with NP Historical Shoes for a pair of custom 12th century shoes. The woven band is slightly modified from a 12th Century pattern in Ecclesiastical Pomp and Circumstance, and is spun gold on a silk core over silk thread.
